The Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of the Thalawa Police Station has been injured after he was attacked with a sharp object during a raid last night.
Police said the injured OID was admitted to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital for treatment.
They said the suspect and four others have been arrested in connection with the incident.
